Freedom’s Calling: The idea that no matter what, there is always a new adventure calling to you. All
you have to do is answer the call and take the first step.

Our Story

After 15+ years of working in stressful and demanding fields, Steven and Melissa decided it was time to slow down and have a simpler life that allowed for more family time. We both have a passion for dogs and helping people achieve their dreams with their 4 legged family members. The Jarvis family moved from their home state of Colorado to Arkansas in early 2022. After a year of settling in and learning about our new state, it was decided to start building our business and learning what Arkansas, specifically Batesville and it’s surrounding communities, needed from a dog trainer.

Freedom’s Calling Canine Training was established in early 2023 with the idea to help every dog and owner through force-free, positive reinforcement training, that is science based and proven to work. Our goal is to show our community that every dog can be a good dog with just a few minutes of training everyday.
